Aprons for Nicaragua
The Sewing Ministry is once again making women's aprons to be distributed on the Nicaragua Mission Trip in July. These aprons are worn every day by the women to protect their clothing because they have so little clothing of their own.
Aprons are easy to make - even for beginners! Pick up a kit at the Women's Ministry area in the foyer. Contact Kathy McDaniel for more information.
A Blanket of My Own
Sewing Ministry is currently putting together supplies to provide 'weighted' blankets for foster children. These special blankets provide an extra sense of security for children in crisis. The blankets will be distributed through Abba's Home Orphan Ministry.
If you can sew a straight line or would like to learn to sew a straight line, you can help! Non sewing tasks are also available.
