Saskatoon Aces Zone - Registration (2024)

We are glad that you wish be a part of our zone for the 2024-2025 hockey seasonand hope that you have a great season!!

Please ensure you are part of the Aces Zone by checking theZoning Mapprior to registering. Proof of Address is now required during the registration process.

Registration for Saskatoon Minor Hockey for the 2024-2025 hockey season will be available from June 1st to June 30th, 2024.

If you are requiring assistance to help pay for some of the costs incurred with registration or costs associated with the hockey season, please see some of theFunding Assistance Optionsyou may have available to you. Please remember to apply as early as possible to avoid delays in getting your player on the ice.

U7 Division will continue with two levels of play; Beginner and Advanced. These divisions are normally seperated by first and second year players.

U9 Division will continue with four levels of play; A, B, C & D.

U11 Division will continue with four levels of play; A, B, C & D.

U13 Division will continue with four levels of play; AA (City-Wide), A-Hybrid, B, & C.

U13 AA (City-Wide)
U13 AA teams are formed from their own set of tryouts though GSHL. If you are registering with GSHL, please make sure to also register with the Aces zone.

U13 A (Hybrid)
U13 A will be a hybrid zone where players/goaltenders from the Aces Zone and the Bobcats Zone will be paired to form teams. Players/Goaltenders who after tryouts/draft, that do not make an 'A' team, will be placed on a zone U13 B/C team.

U13 B & C
U13 B & C will continue to be separated into teams at the zone level.

U15 Division will continue with four levels of play; AA (City-Wide), A, B & C. The B & C divisions will play under No Body Checking rules. Players/Goaltenders will be able to opt into the B/C divisions if they wish to only play No Body Checking hockey.

U15AA (City-Wide)- Body Checking
U15AA teams are formed from their own set of tryouts though GSHL. If you are registering with GSHL, please make sure to also register with the Aces zone.

U18 Division will continue with four levels of play; AA (City-Wide), A, B & C. The B & C divisions will play under No Body Checking rules. Players/Goaltenders will be able to opt into the B/C divisions if they wish to only play No Body Checking hockey. Players/Goaltenders who, after evaluations and drafts, do not make U18 A (Body Checking), will be placed on a U18 B/C No Body Checking team.

U18 B & C will continue to be separated into teams at the zone level.Players/Goaltenders will be able to opt into the B/C divisions if they wish to only play No Body Checking hockey.
