We’re part of Soho House & Co Inc., a global membership platform that connects people through digital and physical spaces that includes Soho House, and we operate properties in LA, Washington DC, Austin, San Francisco, Palm Springs (Saguaro) and New York (The Ned NoMad).

What parking options are available at the hotel?

Valet parking is available at the LINE LA. With validation, it’s $12 including tax for up to two hours (and then $5/hour plus tax after that.) Event parking is $22 including tax. Overnight parking is also available for a nightly rate of $49 plus tax.

Is there valet parking? If so, how does the valet parking work?

Can I leave my car in the parking garage after checking out? Will there be an additional charge?

Yes, you can leave your car in the parking garage after checking out. Our valet rates will apply — the standard is $6 per hour.

Is there an airport nearby?

Yes; Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 13 miles away, and Hollywood Burbank (BUR) is 14 miles away.

What will it cost to hire a cab or town car from the airport to the hotel?

Prices vary based on traffic, time of day, and the car service used, but range from $45 to $100.

Is there a major train/bus station nearby?

The LINE LA is steps away from both the Wilshire/Normandie Metro Station (Purple Line) as well as multiple bus routes.

What’s the best way to get around the city?

The LA Metro, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, Metro Bike Share, and dockless scooters and bikes from Bird, Lime, Lyft, and others.

Hotel Policies

What are the normal check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 3pm, and checkout is at 11am.

Can I check in early?

Yes, if your room is available. A fee might be required depending on how early you’d like to check in.

How late can we check in?

Guests can check in as late as necessary — with notice — before midnight of their arrival date.

What is required to check-in?

A valid identification document and a credit card.

What type of credit cards are accepted at the hotel?

We accept all major credit cards except prepaid debit cards and virtual cards. We do not yet accept PayPal, Cash App, Square, or Apple Pay.

Does the hotel accept traveler’s checks as payment?

No.

Can a third party pay for my reservation?

Yes. Please have the third party complete a credit card authorization form at least three days prior to your arrival. Reach out to reservations team at reservations.la@thelinehotel.com or call 213-381-7411 to request for the form.

Will my credit card be charged when I make my reservation?

If you chose a prepaid rate, your card will be charged right away. For other rates, a valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation, but the card is not charged at the time of booking. There are also options to pay later at the hotel.

Does the hotel require any kind of deposit prior to checking-in?

Deposits are required only on prepaid, nonrefundable bookings. Please check the Deposit & Cancellation policies when completing your reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours before 3pm of your arrival date to avoid cancellation charges (with the exception of nonrefundable bookings, which are non-cancellable). For changes made after the cancellation period, one night’s room and tax will be charged.

What is the nonrefundable reservations policy?

If a nonrefundable reservation is to be cancelled, the deposit paid will not returned. If the reservation is booked directly with the hotel, the balance may be apply to a future stay.

What happens if I damage the guest room?

Security will investigate, and guests are responsible for damages. Our smoking fee is $250.

Will I be charged for an early departure?

Early departures without a 48-hour notice will be charged for an early departure fee of one night room and tax.

Is there a limit to how long I can stay?

You may stay at the LINE LA for no more than 29 days. For stays longer than 21 days, please reach out to the hotel directly.

Hotel Amenities

What room options are available at the hotel?

We have a variety of rooms, studios, and suites with either a king bed or double beds and views of either the Hollywood Hills or the city. ADA-accessible rooms and suites are also available and are equipped with a roll-in or transfer shower, toilet with grab bars, lower vanity, visual alarm, and notification devices.

Are there smoking rooms? And can I smoke in public spaces?

We do not offer smoking rooms, and smoking is not allowed indoors or within 20 feet of the exterior doors. Guests are encouraged to use the Smoking Area in the Motor Court. Our smoking fee is $250 for guest rooms.

Do all of your rooms have private baths?

Yes.

Is there housekeeping service?

Yes.

What type of in-room technology can I expect?

High-speed Wifi, cable TV with HDMI port, electric window shades, phone. We also lend HDMI cables upon request/availability.

I love some of the items in my room, can I purchase them and take home with me?

Yes. Items and their prices are listed in the minibar section of the compendium (scan the in-room QR code to access). The items will be charged to your credit card upon checkout.

Do you have room service?

Yes, in-room dining is available.

Can I have ice sent to my room?

Ice machines are conveniently located on each floor, and ice buckets are in each room’s closet. Ice delivery is also available.

Are there minibars in the rooms?

Yes.

What room amenities are available at the hotel?

Curated minibar, Cowshed bath products, high-speed internet, bathrobes and slippers, cable TV, in-room safe.

Can I have my clothes laundered and dry cleaned?

Yes. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available seven days a week. Items sent out by 9am will be delivered to your room by 7pm. Pricing is located on the laundry form. Please dial Housekeeping or extension 3046 for in-room pickup before 9am.

Do you have a shoe shine service?

No.

How do I schedule a wake-up call?

Please connect with the Front Desk team, and they will arrange a wake-up call for you.

If I am traveling on business, what types of services can you support me with?

We offer a business center with printer, phone, Wifi, and computer.

Do you have a gym or fitness center? If so, what type of equipment can I expect?

Yes. The gym has treadmills, various weight machines, a Peloton bike, ellipticals, medicine balls, yoga mats, straps, and weights.

Where can I securely store my valuables?

We offer a safe in each guest room. Our bellmen can also store extra luggage before check-in or after checkout.

Can I send a package to the hotel?

Yes.

Can I bring my pet to the hotel?

Yes: Pets are welcome at the LINE LA free of charge.

Is breakfast included?

Yes. There is no additional cost for children.

Are extra beds or rollaway beds available?

While most of the guest rooms do not accommodate a rollaway bed, we do have them available.

What does the amenity fee cover?

Access to our second-floor pool and pool towels, high-speed wireless internet, curated minibar, room service, assortment of Cowshed bath products (for use during stay), 24-hour access to the gym with Peloton bike, access to private Barbershop Club, in-room spa services, 24-hour access to business center, laundry service, in-room coffee maker & tea kettle upon request, onsite water refill stations, 24-hour guest services, 24-hour security, priority access to onsite speakeasy nightclubs (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Break Room 86) and guest experience programs including Tai Chi and other wellness events, tarot readings, DJ nights, monthly game night, meetups for Koreatown Run Club, and more.

Openaire is a lush greenhouse on our second floor that features a menu by Josiah Citrin, the only three Michelin star chef in Los Angeles. Our lobby is home to Alfred Coffee, which offers food and drinks, and a lobby bar that also offers a small food menu. We also offer in-room dining and house two night clubs on property — Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Breakroom 86.

What activities are there to do at the hotel?

Grab a drink by the pool, enjoy a variety of regular programming (including live DJs in the lobby on Saturdays and Tai Chi on Sundays), get an elevated shave and more at the Barbershop Club, dine at one of our restaurants, work out at our state-of-the-art gym, sing karaoke or party at Breakroom 86, and go dancing at Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Does the restaurant have a pool?

While we have a pool on the property, it is separate from the restaurant. Hotel guests can order from the restaurant with the pool menu.
